Lynn Amerman Goerdt, EdD, MSW: Lynn is currently a full-time faculty member of the UW Superior Social Work Program, where she has worked for the last 3 years. She primarily teaches social welfare policy and research courses and coordinates their field experience program. For the previous 8 years, Lynn taught as adjunct faculty at area colleges in their social work programs. She has worked as a human services consultant in Duluth for 8 years, primarily working on program evaluation, needs assessment and grant writing projects. In this capacity, she has worked with numerous local non-profit organizations and supported the expansion of community mental health services in the Arrowhead Region. Lynn's academic and research passions include internationalized social work education, engaging students in policy advocacy, and supporting student's journeys as they transition into the profession.
